PARENTING IN A CHANGING WORLD
Parenting in a changing world is both a gift and a challenge, especially for Christian families who want to raise their children with strong faith and healthy values.
Today’s parents are not only guiding their children through school, friendships, and emotions, but also through a fast-moving digital world filled with screens, social media, and constant online influence. Technology can be helpful for learning and staying connected, but too much screen time can quietly replace real family conversations and meaningful moments together.
Christian families need to be intentional about protecting family time, sharing meals without phones, finding time for prayer and church, and for having open conversations about what children see and hear online. Children are growing up in a world that often promotes values very different from those taught in Scripture, so parents must lead with love, wisdom, and consistency.
This means setting healthy boundaries around devices, modelling self-control with their own screen use, and creating a home environment where faith is lived out daily, not just on Sundays. In a changing world, strong Christian parenting is less about control and more about connection, relationship, guidance, and pointing children to Christ in everyday life.
UKUBA NGUMZALI EZWENI ELIGUQUGUQUKAYO
