Past. George Mahlobo – Leadership Lessons I have Learned.
Past. George Mahlobo served as General Secretary of the AFM of SA for 28 years and President of the same for five years. He is the current AFM International President. In his PCD session, he will be highlighting some of the leadership principles from his own experience, such as the importance of ubuntu and building good relationships.
PCD Workshop 2:
Dr Johan Serfontein – The much-needed Language of Lament in our Spirituality and Liturgy.
Covid showed us many things. Among them was the fact that the church, in general, and us as believers do not have a liturgy that can help people to mourn the many things lost during this pandemic. As Pentecostals, we emphasise praise and worship and liturgy that celebrates victories. The Bible has a language that can help us to process the things lost; THE LANGUAGE OF LAMENT. Lament takes us to God, opens up a conversation with Him, invites us into prayer and eventually turns mourning into dancing.
