Dear Colleague,

1. PRAYER REQUEST: TO END THE WAR SITUATION & CONTINUING TENSION IN UKRAINE & RUSSIA

I urge all our Pastors and Assemblies to continue to pray for an amicable solution to the war and tension in Eastern Europe and especially between Ukraine and Russia.

Although there are aggressors and political motives to be found on all sides of this turmoil, the victims are the ordinary citizens, mothers and children who must flee their houses and are without food, water and shelter. It is not acceptable that hospitals, emergency rooms and even maternity homes are being bombarded and destroyed.

When we see and hear of all these things happening in the world, we are again reminded that there is an eschatological timeline unfolding in history and that the Biblical promise and expectation of the return of Jesus still stands. Let us continue to do the work of sharing the Gospel while it is still day. (John 9:4)

On 25 February 2022 Past. M.G. Mahlobo (President of AFM International), on behalf of the AFM International President’s Summit, released a statement requesting urgent prayer for the situation between Russia and Ukraine. 2. 2022 NOB EMPOWERMENT VISITS

The National Office Bearers (NOB) are looking forward to once again be able to meet in-person with our Pastors, Governing Body Members, Departments, Assembly Representatives and Youth, during the Regional NOB Empowerment for 2022. This year we will be sharing on the theme of Stewardship to which we are all called as believers and servants of God. Stewardship is also an important part of our Missional Strategy under the focus area of Governance.

God willing, we will be at the following venues on the following dates:

08-09 April: Gauteng (AGS Herlewingsentrum, Pretoria) & North-West (AFM Oase, Klerksdorp).
20-21 May: Northern Cape (AFM Rehobot, Upington) & Eastern Cape (Gees en Lewe, East London).
