Ekunikezeni amalungu ethu amandla, sizokwenza konke okusemandleni ngokulandela indlela kaJesu yokunikeza abafundi bakhe amandla. Waqala wachitha isikhathi sakhe ebafundisa. Lokhu kwalandelwa ngukubabonisa ukuthi “benze kanjani”. Ube eseqhubeka ngokubenza ingxenye yomsebenzi wenkolo – njengokwandisa izinhlanzi nezinkwa. Igxathu elilandelayo kwaba ngukubathumela ukuba bayozisebenzela bona ngokwabo. (NgokukaLuka 9:1+2) Uma behluleka noma benza amaphutha, wayebaqondisa – njengodaba lwendodana eyayinemimoya emibi. (NgokukaMarku 9:14-29) Lapha yilapho umsebenzi obalulekile wokulolonga nokuqeqesha ungena khona. Sebeqeqeshiwe, waqinisekisa ukuthi bagcwaliswa ngoMoya ONgcwele ngaphambi kokuba bathunyelwe ezweni. Ukunikeza amandla kwenzeka ngezindlela ezahlukahlukene nasemazingeni ahlukahlukene. Kumele kukhunjulwe njalo ukuthi inhloso enkulu yohlelo lethu ngukwenza abafundi beqiniso, izithunywa ezingabaphostoli, abakwaziyo ukufeza i-Missio Dei – iNjongo KaNkulunkulu. Kumele iyekwe indlela yakudala yokubona amalungu njengabantu abangesilutho bese kuthi abafundisi babonwe njengokuyibo “ababiziwe”. Lonke ilungu kumele lazi ukuthi nalo libizwe ngokulinganayo nguNkulunkulu, nokuthi libizelwe ukuba ngofakazi baKrestu ngokwempilo nangokwemisebenzi yalo. Nawo ngokulinganayo ayingxenye eyisimakade yomzimba kaKrestu.

Umbutho WamaPhentekoste awemukelekanga kahle emabandleni akudala ngasemashumini-minyaka okuqala ngenkathi efika, ngasekuqaleni kwekhuluminyaka lama-20 (20th century). Sigqugquzela abefundisi namalungu ase-AFM ukuba bangabi ngabakhethekile kodwa babe nomqondo woMbuso Wezulu. Ukubeka phambili umbuso kaNkulunkulu akusho ukwethembeka kuphela ebandleni lakho. Okubaluleke ukwedlula ukwanda kwebandla lami ngukubona uMbuso KaNkulunkulu ukhula. UMbuso KaNkulunkulu awuvuzi lutho uma amalungu ebandla esuka kwelinye ibandla eya kwelinye.

Ngokwezinga lomhlaba wonke kanye nelezwe, i-AFM iyingxenye yamabhodi amaningana amabandla kaKrestu ahlukahlukene. Siyafisa ukukubona lokhu kwenzeka nakwamanye amazinga. Njengalokhu abefundisi bethu abaningi bezibandakanye nezinhlangano zobudlelwane babefundisi, sigqugquzela abefundisi bethu namalungu ethu ukuba bazibandakanye namanye amakholwa futhi babambisane ngazo zonke izindlela. Izinhlelo eziningi zokufinyelela kubantu ezindaweni esikuzo zizophumelela kakhulu uma amabandla ebambisana. Imigubho ethize ekhalendeni lebandla, njengoSuku Lomenyuko noKhisimusi kungagujwa ndawonye. Kungenziwa okufanayo ngemisebenzi yokufinyelela emiphakathini.

Akukho ngisho nelilodwa ibandla elinganqoba idolobha noma idolobhakazi elikulona lisebenza lodwa. Ngesisekelo sethu sokuba yibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu, kumele sikhumbule amazwi kaJesu: “Kepha uJesu wathi kuye, ningamnqabeli, ngokuba ongamelene nani ungakini.” (NgokukaLuka 9:50) Siphambana nomgomongqangi webandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu uma amabandla eshayisana. Asikwazi ukuba yibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu ngokweqiniso uma sishaya indiva ingxenye enkulu yomzimba kaKrestu.

Siyingxenye yesizukulwane esingasakuboni kuyinto ebaluleke kakhulu ukuhluka kwethu ngokwemigomo. Ubudlelwano yibo obubalulekile. Kuyinto enhle kakhulu uma incazelo itholakala ebudlelwaneni nasemqondweni wokubumbana phakathi kwabaholi namabandla endawo – “Ukuze izwe likholwe ukuthi wena ungithumile…” (NgokukaJohane 17:21)

Ukuba ngumfundi soze kwahlukaniswa noMyalelo Omkhulu, nokwenza kube yinto ebaluleke kakhulu futhi okuyisu okugxilwe kulo eSwini Lethu Elilodwa Lokwenza Le-AFM. Amazwi kaJesu mawazwakale ezindlebeni zethu: “Ngakhoke, hambani nenze izizwe zonke abafundi…” (NgokukaMatewu 28:19). UMyalelo Omkhulu awugcini nje ngokushumayela iVangeli nokuphendula abantu. Labo bantu asebephendukile kumele benziwe abafundi. Uma kungenjalo, kusho ukuthi asikenzi lutho ngoMyalelo kaJesu.

Ukuba yibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu ngokweqiniso kudinga abafundi beqiniso, nanjengoba ukuba namalungu ebandla angabafundi beqiniso nako kusho ukuba yibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu. Ngaphandle kwalokhu okunye, ngeke kube khona nalokhu okunye.

Umuntu kumele abe ngumfundi yena kuqala ukuze akwazi ukwenza abanye babe ngabafundi. (KwabaseKhorinte Boku-1, 11:1) Lokhu kusho ukuthi lowo muntu usemamukele uJesu njengeNkosi noMsindisi. Baningi abamthandayo uJesu njengomuntu oyisibonelo esihle kakhulu nochaza ngokunothile ukuthi ngonjani umuntu ohlabahlosile (njengo- Mohandas Ghanddi), kodwa ungaba ngumfundi kaJesu kuphela uma esebe nguMsindisi/nguMhlengi wakho. Ukuba ngumfundi kuqala ngokuhlengwa.

Inhloso yokuba ngumfundi ngukuziphatha nokucabanga ngendlela uKrestu ayeziphatha ngayo kube ngokwemvelo yakho, ngamanye amazwi, ngukuveza kakhulu ubukhona bakhe, uthando lwakhe, ukuphila kwakhe kanye namandla akhe. (KwabaseGalathiya 4:19)

Ukuba ngumfundi kusho ukunikezwa amandla. Yingakho futhi asebephendukile kumele nakanjani babhabhadiswe ngokukaMoya ONgcwele. (Izenzo 1:8) Impilo eholwa nguMoya ikhiqiza izimpawu zokufana noKrestu ngaphandle kokukuhlela lokho. (KwabaseKhorinte Boku-1, 3:18) Lokhu kuyingxenye yezithelo zikaMoya. (KwabaseGalathiya 5:22)

Ukwehluleka ukukhiqiza abafundi beqiniso baKrestu, kungaba yisona sici esikhulu sebandla kanti kungenzeka kube yisona sizathu esidala ukuba izwe lethu libe namazinga obubi angemukelekile ngale ndlela kanye nokungabikhona kobulungiswa kwezokuhlalisana kwabantu, kweziphathelene nocansi kanye nobubi babantu nje ngabodwana – yize kunenani eliphezulu kangaka lamaKrestu. Baningi abazibiza ngamaKrestu kodwa bambalwa abangabafundi baKrestu.

Ibandla nemisebenzi yalo alikwazi ukusindisa abantu – nguNkulunkulu kuphela ongenza lokho. Kodwa sinikwe nguNkulunkulu ijoka lokukhiqiza abafundi, abangabalandeli boqobo baKristu, sibaholele ekukhuleni. (Kwabase-Efesu 4:12). Lokhu kwenzeka ngokushumayela nangokufundisa, ngempilo eyisibonelo kubaholi, ngokulolonga nangokuqeqesha okwenzeka ngokwengqikithi yobudlelwane beqiniso nobuqatha. Ukukhiqiza abafundi baJesu beqiniso kuyinselelo enkulu – kusukela emabandleni amancane kuya kwamakhulu.

Ekubeni yibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaKrestu, kumele kugcizelelwe amaphuzu amathathu angamaqiniso:

1 – uNkulunkulu uyiso ngempela iSithunywa Esikhulu. Nguye “Owathuma” kuqala kanti futhi nguye “Owathunywa” kuqala – Ngokuba uNkulunkulu walithanda izwe kangaka, waze wanikela…” (NgokukaJohane 3:16) Igama lezenkolo lithi: Missio Del – okusho ukuthi iNjongo KaNkulunkulu. Leli yiqoqo lokubalulekile kanye nesamba esiphelele somsebenzi wokuhlenga. UYise wathuma iNdodana Yakhe; uYise neNdodana bathuma uMoya ONgcwele; uYise, iNdodana noMoya ONgcwele bathuma ibandla. Encwadini kaJohane, iyodwa nje, sifunda ngoJesu ethunywa ezindaweni ezibalelwa cishe emashumini amane. Encwadini kaJohane 20:21, uJesu akaziboni engothunyiwe kuphela, kodwa uphinde azibone engothumayo: “Njengokuba uBaba engithumile, nami ngiyanithuma.” Kubalulekile ukuba thina njengebandla, sizibone thina – singabodwana futhi siyigxenye yeningi – sithunywe yiSithunywa EsinguNkulunkulu. Kubalulekile ukwazi ukuthi uMyalelo Omkhulu KaJesu awunikezwanga kwabakhethiwe abambalwa, ekomidini noma kwabathile “abanomqondo wokuba yizithunywa ezisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu” ebandleni, kodwa wanikezwa emzimbeni wonke wamakholwa – akukho kholwa elishiywe ngaphandle!

2 – Ibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu liqhathaniswa nebandla “elihlose ukuheha”. (Lizwelana Nabangakamazi uKrestu) Inkonzo akufanele kube yiwona mongo wokuxhumana nalabo abangaphandle kwesonto – ikakhulukazi kwingqikithi yesikhathi lapho ibandla lingasayidlali indima emqoka emphakathini njengakuqala. Yize ingekho inkinga ngokuheha abantu ukuba beze esontweni nokubemukela ngobungane nangozwelo abangakamazi uKrestu, ibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu lizihlupha kakhulu ngokuthuma abantu asebengaphakathi enkonzweni ukuba baye kubantu abangaphandle ezweni, kunokulanda abantu abangaphandle ezweni ukuba bazoba yingxenye yebandla. Inselelo elinayo ehamba phambili akusikho ukuletha abantu abaningi esontweni (esakhiweni), kodwa ukuba nebandla elikhulu ebantwini basemhlabeni. Ukudayisa nokuthenga kuba yiyona nto elixhumanisa nabantu abangasindisiwe kunokuba kube yinkonzo. Indlela yethu yokuthi “wozani nizobona” kumele ishintshe ibe ngethi “hambani niyoba”.

2 – Isifundo sakhe esimqoka maqondana noMbuso Wezulu (Intshumayelo yasentabeni) asizange sethulelwe ethempelini kodwa sathulelwa ngasentabeni. (NgokukaMatewu 5:7)
3 – Izimangaliso eziningi azenza wazenzela emizini yabantu nasezindleleni.

Indlela yokuheha isebenza kangconywana lapho abantu bakhona ngokujwayelekile bezihlanganisa nezenkolo – njengasezingxenyeni eziningi zase-Afrika. Usiko lasemazweni aseNtshonalanga lona seludlulele ngaphambili kwesikhathi sobuKrestu, kanti indlela yokuheha khona seyiphelelwe isikhathi futhi ayisenamsebenzi. Kunokuhlukana phakathi/uqhekeko olwandayo phakathi “kwebandla” ne”zwe.” KuKrestu, uNkulunkulu (Izwi) “waba yinyama”. Lokho sikubiza ngokuthi yi-”incarnation” (ukumbozwa ngomzimba wobuntu). Ukuba “ngosebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu” kusho ukuthi amaKrestu (ibandla), ngokomqondo othathelwe egameni, azoba nguKrestu osembozwe ngemizimba esemiphakathini yethu. 3. Ukuba yibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu kusho ukuthi sizibandakanya ngokuphelele kwi-Misio Dei, noma enjongweni kaNkulunkulu.
Ezikhathini eziningi, sivame ukucabanga ukuthi umsebenzi osemqoka kaNkulunkulu usebandleni, esikhundleni sokubona ukuthi umsebenzi kaNkulunkulu usemhlabeni, kanti ibandla yithuluzi elithunyelwa emhlabeni ukuba yingxenye yenjongo yakhe yokuhlenga. Empeleni kunezinhlobo ezintathu zamabandla: 1 – Amabandla angenantshisekelo kumbe angazibandakanyi nokunqoba imiphefumulo elahlekile; 2 – Amabandla anohlelo lokuphuma ayoshumayela ivangeli; 3- kanye namabandla asebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu. Lokhu kwehluka okukhulu kucacisa umehluko phakathi kwebandla elinohlelo lokuphuma liyoshumayela ivangeli kanye nelisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu. Ibandla elinohlelo lokuphuma liyoshumayela ivangeli libona lokho kuyinto eyodwa ehambisana nezinye izinto ezibaluleke ngokufanayo ebandleni. Ibandla elisebenzela ukufeza injongo kaNkulunkulu lona ligxile emisebenzini yalo yonke maqondana nokuzibandakanya kwalo nenhloso kaNkulunkulu ngomhlaba. Esikhundleni salokho, ibanlda kumele libonakale lingumphumela wenjongo kaNkulunkulu. 1. Ubuqotho. Ubuqotho bumayelana nokuba qatha kanye neqiniso. Bumayelana nokuba nesimilo esiphelele. Njengabaholi bezikamoya, mina nawe kumele sibe ngabokuqala ababonisa ubuqotho. Ngeke sakwazi ukufundisa uma singayenzi leyo nto esiyifundisayo. Umsebenzi wethu kumele ukubonise lokho. Kumele sikhulume ngento esiyenzayo. UNkulunkulu angamenzela izinto eziningi umuntu ongekho ngcwele – kodwa ngeke amenzela lutho ongumkhohlisi. Imisebenzi yethu kumele ibe ngeyeqiniso. Izimpilo zethu kumele zibe ngezeqiniso. Amakholwa angasuka okholweni ngezindlela eziningi, kodwa uma kulimele ubuqotho, ayikho enye into engavala isikhala sabo.

2. Ubudlelwane. Into encikene kakhulu nobuqotho ubudlelwane – ubudlelwane obujulile nobunobuqiniso. Siphuma esikhathini ebesinokuhlukana ngokobuhlanga, uma ubheka ukuthi kunokushayisana osekuqhamuka futhi ezweni lethu, kubalulekile ukuba siqinise futhi sinakekele ubumbano esiluphiwe nguNkulunkulu. Ubudlelwane bethu namalungu omndeni, nesisebenza nabo kanye namalungu ebandla bubaluleke kakhulu. Akulula ukwakha ibandla eliphilile ngaphandle kobudlelwane obujulile. Sicela nikwenze lokhu futhi nikufundise abantu benu.

3. Ukubophezeleka. Nginesiqiniseko sokuthi niyafuna ukukubona lokhu emalungwini enu. Kodwa-ke futhi, lokho kuqala ebaholini bethu. Asisibo abantu abahlukanisiwe nabanye abangenamsebenzi ngomunye nomunye. Njengamakholwa, sibophezeleke kuNkulunkulu kuqala, kodwa iqiniso ngukuthi iBhayibheli nalo liyakucacisa ukuthi sibophezelekile nakomunye nomunye. Esikhathini esikuso, lapho ukuzimela ngawedwana kungokwenani eliphezulu, esontweni ukubophezeleka akuxoxiswana nokuxoxiswana ngakho. Ukukushaya indiva lokhu, kuholela ekuzidicileleni phansi. Kumele siqonde kahle ukuphathwa. UNkulunkulu ubeke ukwakheka kokuphathwa emshadweni, emndenini, esontweni nasezweni. Wonke umuntu kumele abe nomuntu abophezeleke kuyena. Nawe awukwazi ukushaya umthetho uma kungekho lapho oshayelwa khona umthetho.

4. Ukwenzisisa kahle. Siyakholwa ukuthi yonke into esiyenzayo kumele siyenze sengathi senzela uNkulunkulu? Ngabe izimpilo zethu noma umsebenzi wethu wezenkolo uyakufakazela lokhu? Njengabaholi, sibophezekile ekwenzisiseni kahle esontweni nasemisebenzini yethu. Kungumgomo okumele siwufundise futhi siwubonise kubantu bethu. Ubuphofu akusiyo into esingavika ngayo sithi asikwazi ukwenzisisa kahle. Ukwenzisisa kahle kumele kube injongo yethu futhi kube yindlela yethu yokwenza. Izinga elivamile alanele kahle hle.

Empowered21 is an organization that is helping to shape the future of the Spirit-empowered movement throughout the world. It is open to all Spirit-empowered churches, ministries, organisations, networks and fellowships. The Empowered21 African Congress is a strategic empowerment opportunity that speaks directly into the heart of missionality and the AFM’s “One AFM Game Plan”. The vision of EMPOWERED21 is:

 

“That every person on earth would have an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit…by Pentecost 2033.”

 

This vision mirrors the Great Commission and connects to the basic vision of every Christian church – and especially every AFM assembly. In attendance will be a wide array of ministry leaders from around the world, including William Wilson (President, Oral Roberts University), George Wood (Chairman, World Assemblies of God Fellowship); Opoku Onyinah (President, Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council), Frank Chikane (President, The Apostolic Faith Mission International); Daniel Kolenda (President, Christ for All Nations); Ron Luce (Global Youth Strategist, Generation Next) and many others.

Ten focus areas have been identified for both the main and individual track sessions (that are aligned with the AFM’s missional church strategy):

The idea is to create new connections that will empower the Spirit-filled movement to fulfil the Great Commission.

On Saturday 19 May 2018 the program will focus on inter-generational impartation. All young people, Youth Pastors & Leaders are invited to participate in the sessions hosted by the Next Generation Network (NGN). Local youth that can’t afford to come to the whole Congress are encouraged to buy tickets for the Saturday only at a special youth discounted price of R150. Youth tickets for the Saturday will be available soon.

I want to encourage all to attend this Congress as it will strengthen the overall leadership in assemblies, regions, networks and departments. There is an early and late registration fee. The early bird registration which closes on 31 March 2018 is R1,350.00. After 31 March 2018 registration is R1,500.00.
